Built from flexible ripstop nylon and breathable 3D mesh, the Strive 5 is the updated version of Silva's bestselling Strive Light 5 — now 24% lighter with an improved fit and trekking pole attachments added. It sits close and moves with you, with four size options (XS–L) to dial in the fit properly rather than just guessing.
The pocket layout is genuinely well thought out. Up front: two adjustable soft flask pockets, two zippered pockets (one with a key hook for your phone), and two large easy-access mesh pockets for gels, bars, or gloves. Out back: a spacious mesh pocket for quick access to a layer, plus a large main compartment that fits a hydration bladder up to 3L. There's also a dedicated elastic battery pocket with cable routing for your headlamp — a thoughtful detail that most vests skip entirely.
Four movable and adjustable pole straps keep your running poles secured in any orientation, and the vest is compatible with the Silva Strive Quiver for vertical, horizontal, or crossed pole carry. Reflective detailing and an integrated emergency whistle round out the safety features.
